Do we love our country ?

Hi People,

This is Gaurav Sethi from Delhi. I am witting this blog to ask a question to all of you people that everyone says this is my state,this is my state, but nobody says that this is my couuntry. Where ever you go wheather its mumbai, ahemdabad, calcutta, or any place in India. Everybody says that this is my state like in mumbai they say amchi mumbai, in calcutta they say Homar calcutta, in punjab they say sadha punjab, but people does anybody says that this is our country ? Nobody says except few people when it comes to cricket, terrorist attack or any other natural calamity. If this is our country, is this not our duty to take care of it, people in India who have moeny they can give lot of charity but cant help the person who come to them for help. Is this our country that our freedom fighters have thought of and sacrifised thier lives for where everybody is deligating the responsiblity to others. We are doing it to the goverment and goverment to the other agencies. Is this the country the thought of when they fought for the same with full of corruption and jalousy for the people. No I don't think so. This is not only the one thing which I wanna bring under the notice of a common man, the other issues like cleanliness, India is a great country, but when it comes to cleanliness no body bothers to do it. Everybody thinks that this is not my work why should I do it ? This is the work of goverment or MCD who made this, this is not my duty. Poeple belives in cleaning there own house but they cannot clear there surroundings. If you go to CP (Cannaought Palace) in the garden near the Palika bazar, just sit for 15-20 min. You will come to know about the attitude of the people sitting there. Everybody will complaint that "goverment dosen't do anything its so dirty over here. They all are thieves and Is desh ka kuch nai ho sakta". People are we really worth commenting on this. Does goverment can really do anything on this ? No I don't think so, We people can do this, no body expect to go and clean the garden, No No Not at all but 1 thing we can do is throw the thing in a dustbin rather than throwing it on the road or the garden. Poeple goverment is sleeping cause we are sleeping, If we raise our voice we can keep our city, Our country clean and such a beatiful place to live in. If you go to any of the VIP places accross India you will find those places are neat and tidy as if it is only the place where people live. I wanna ask is that the only place where people live ? If we wanna make a difference then we have to change and Im sure when we change country will definetely change. This is my humble request to all the countrymen to read this blog and comment so that I can know your views for the same. And do we have this corrage to make our country clean like other countries in US and UK and show them that East or west, India is the best. Im really sorry it I hurted anyone feelings.
